South Bay Hospital Named
Primary Stroke Center by State of Florida
South Bay Hospital in Sun City Center, Florida has been named a Primary Stroke Center by the state of Florida. In order to achieve this recognition, the hospital has fully implemented evidence-based practices for high quality stroke care.
“It is exciting to be recognized for our hard work,” said Sharon Roush, South Bay chief executive officer. She added, “But it’s even more rewarding to be able to provide this high level of quality stroke care for residents of southern Hillsborough County.
South Bay Hospital in a 112-bed acute care hospital serving Sun City Center, Ruskin, Wimauma, Riverview, Apollo Beach, Gibsonton and the surrounding areas.
